Mark P. Daly is managing member of the firm and practices in the areas of Business Law, Business Formation, Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law, Civil Litigation, and Health Care Law.
Mr. Daly was an associate at MPD Law’s predecessor firm and developed its health care practice .Mr. Daly earned his undergraduate and law degrees from Suffolk University. He is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and Connecticut.

John C. McCullough is a founding partner of McCullough Stievater & Polvere, LLP and represents corporate and business interests in the acquisition, development and financing of commercial developments, subsidized housing projects and health care institutions.
He represents owners, developers and mortgagees of nursing homes and long-term care facilities and multi-family housing, is experienced with conventional, HUD-insured and MDFA-financed bond projects and acts as Title Insurance Agent for a major title insurance company.
Mr. McCullough’s practice also focuses on litigation regarding construction and environmental issues. Mr. McCullough is certified for mediation of disputes with parties seeking to avoid costly litigation in the areas of construction and health care disputes. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Boston College Law School. He served for five years as Director of the Youth Program at the John F. Kennedy Family Service Center in Charlestown and is a past President of the Massachusetts Special Olympics.
Mr. McCullough is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association Health Law Section and holds a Commonwealth of Massachusetts unrestricted construction supervisor license. In addition to Massachusetts Attorney certification, he is admitted to the Federal District Court, the Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the U. S. Tax Court

Daniel M. Polvere is a founding partner of the McCullough Stievater & Polvere, LLP and heads the Property Management Group. He has a broad practice in real estate, including conveyancing, landlord-tenant and condominium areas. He also practices estate planning and closely held business counseling and formation, specializing in forms of business organization: corporations, limited liability companies, general and limited partnerships. Mr. Polvere acts as Title Insurance Agent for a major title insurance company.
Mr. Polvere was among the first attorneys to appear in the Boston Housing Court at its inception while he was legal counsel for Boston’s Rent Equity Board. Mr. Polvere has taught landlord-tenant law at Suffolk University, Boston. He is a founding member of the Attorneys Committee of CAI (Community Associations Institute), and later served as Chairman.
He teaches and lectures regularly to attorneys, property managers, trustees, investors and laypersons through professional organizations, adult education programs and Bar Associations. Mr. Polvere graduated from Boston College and Georgetown University Law School. He also holds an advanced law degree from New York University. Mr. Polvere is admitted to the Federal District Court and the Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Bill McCarthy is Of Counsel to the firm. Previously he practiced in Boston where he represented clients in estate planning, financial and real estate matters. He is also the former President and CEO of The Cooperative Bank with offices in Charlestown, Roslindale and West Roxbury. Mr. McCarthy served as the Chairman of the Community Bank League of New England and was a member of the Board of Directors of the U.S.S. Massachusetts Museum. He is a graduate of Holy Cross College and Suffolk University Law School.
He served in Vietnam with the Navy Seabees and retired as a Captain in the Navy Supply Corps.Mr. McCarthy concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and real estate.

Attorney Cynthia Hartman joined MPD Law after spending 24 years at Gordon, Mond & Ott in Quincy. A 1991 graduate of Suffolk University Law School, Cynde has focused her practice on a variety of civil litigation matters, including real estate and business disputes, divorce and related issues, condominium representation, and probate litigation. She has tried numerous cases before juries and judges and has had success in all Massachusetts courts, as well as in mediations and arbitrations. She is certified as a Category F Guardian ad Litem in the Probate Court. Reported cases include Bakwin v. Mardirosian, 467 Mass. 641 (2014); Piscatelli v. Fitzgerald, 2013 Mass.App.Div. 55; I&R Mechanical v. Hazelton Manufacturing, 62 Mass.App.Ct. 452 (2004).
Cynde graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois with degrees in Broadcast Journalism, Radio/TV Production and Theater. She worked as a journalist in Central Illinois before moving to Boston for law school. She is a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Reading. She is active in the Boston arts community, singing with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, Back Bay Chorale and New World Chorale, of which she is also a Board member.
